Wellness is clearly a passion of mine. And it is something that has become a priority in my life, particularly after the birth of my daughter. Having the energy to keep up with my two year-old is a nonnegotiable at this point. So this past year I’ve really been testing out products and routines that help me to tap into this lifestyle that I want to cultivate. But as with all things, a balance has to be reached. Too much rigidity surrounding any routine will only bring added stress. So this week I have compiled five of my top wellness products that help me tap into my highest self and create structured well-being that is not too fussy.

I love to bookend my days with rituals that helped me to feel grounded and do not take much time or effort. All of the products on this list have become regular staples either at the start of my day or at the end and just help me really feel a sense of grounding and stability. I’m excited to share these with you.

Let’s start with the products I use in the AM to get my day off to a glorious start.

  1. Dry Brush

Dry brushing every day before I shower has become a ritual that I do not want to go a day without. It takes less than five minutes. And I do it while my shower warms up, so I’m basically putting what used to be wasted time to work. Dry brushing is great for lymphatic drainage, circulation, exfoliation, and it reduces cellulite and improves your skin tone. It really energizes me and I love this anchor to start my morning.

2. tongue Scraper

I love a good tongue scraping session after I floss and brush my teeth in the mornings. This is my final go to morning ritual and signals to my brain and body that the day is ready to start. Once tongue scraping is done, I am out the door, taking Quinn to school. Tongue scraping has so many benefits, including improved taste, fresh breath by removing odor, causing bacteria, and boosted immunity.

These next two products can be used as part of your AM or PM rituals.

3. Manduka Yoga Mat

A good yoga mat has so many purposes and will serve you for years to come. I use my Manduka yoga mat for a variety of purposes. From yoga practice (obviously) to workouts to meditation, this mat follows me through all of my physical wellness practices. I love this specific one because of its quality and durability. This is built to last. I know people who have had their Manduka mat for 20+ years. It is a bit of an investment, but when you realize that this will genuinely last a lifetime, it pays for itself. Investing and quality wellness equipment is essential for longevity of your practice.

4. Red Light Therapy

OK this is my new obsession. Matt gifted me my Hooga for my birthday, and I have been a daily practitioner of it since. Red light therapy has so many benefits, including reduced inflammation, increased collagen production, reduction in wrinkles, hair growth, optimized sleep, wound healing, better circulation, and so much more. I’m serious. The list goes on and on. I have heard some people say that red light therapy is the future of home health and I believe it. I love the Hooga because I can use it anywhere. I like to do 15 minutes of red light therapy after I work out, or at night after I cleanse my face. It’s great to also meditate while you do red light therapy. I know it’s a bit of an investment, but this is seriously the healthcare of the future. It truly makes me feel rejuvenated after I have a red light session.

And now to my easy PM ritual.

5. Mouth tape

When I put my mouth tape on at night, that is the signal to my brain (and my husband) that the show is over. It’s time for sleep. Mouth tapping has become my go to a ritual right before bed that just feels like a big hug for my face. But it comes with so many benefits, including nasal breathing, preventing dry mouth and boosting my sleep quality. I also really encourage it if you or someone that snores. This can help you reduce snoring. It’s also sculpting for your jawline so you really can’t go wrong with this beauty fix overnight that literally takes zero effort.

There you have it- five simple beauty products that help me feel grounded, refreshed, and ready to face the day.

Whether it’s a quick tongue scrape or a 15 minute meditation with red light, these little rituals add up. It’s not about spending hours, or a fortune, on wellness. It’s about being intentional with the time and products you have. I hope this list inspires your own daily rhythm.
